A edição 2025/26 do Draft Internacional da G-League trouxe ótimas notícias para o basquete brasileiro: Reynan dos Santos, Gabriel Campos e Sérgio “Serjão” Conceição foram escolhidos por franquias da liga de desenvolvimento da NBA, que retêm os direitos dos atletas para futuras convocações. Embora a seleção não garanta vaga imediata nos elencos, representa uma oportunidade valiosa de visibilidade e aproximação com o cenário norte-americano.
Com apenas 21 anos, Reynan foi a 3ª escolha do Draft, feita pelo Mexico City Capitanes. Revelado pelo Sesi Franca e destaque do Pinheiros no último NBB, o ala-armador teve passagem pela liga Overtime Elite nos EUA e foi indicado ao prêmio de Destaque Jovem da temporada. Já Gabriel Campos, de 24 anos, foi selecionado na 14ª posição pelo Austin Spurs. Armador experiente, Gabi acumula sete temporadas no NBB e atualmente joga no Barcelona de Guayaquil, no Equador. Por fim, o pivô Serjão, com trajetória sólida por clubes como Vasco, Unifacisa e Cerrado, foi a 16ª escolha do Texas Legends e atua atualmente no Larre, do Uruguai.
A presença dos três brasileiros no Draft reforça o crescimento do país como celeiro de talentos e abre portas para que mais atletas possam trilhar o caminho rumo à NBA. A G-League, além de desenvolver jogadores, também acaba sendo uma plataforma estratégica para quem busca voos mais altos no basquete mundial.
